Chile Economy

Chile's economy is one of the most stable and open in Latin America, anchored by a dominant mining sector and diversified export structure. Copper remains the country's key economic pillar, with Chile being the world's largest producer, while lithium, fruit, wine, seafood, and forestry products contribute to export variety. A strong regulatory framework and prudent fiscal management support investment and international competitiveness. Although Chile faces challenges such as inequality and dependence on commodity cycles, ongoing efforts in renewable energy, infrastructure development, and value-added industries reinforce its growth outlook.
