China Economy

China's economy is the world's second largest and a central force in global manufacturing, technology, and trade. Rapid industrialization, infrastructure expansion, and strong export competitiveness have driven decades of growth. Today, China leads in electronics, machinery, consumer goods, and renewable energy technologies, while the services sector—including e-commerce, finance, health care, and logistics—continues expanding. Key challenges include demographic aging, real estate pressures, and geopolitical tensions. Still, substantial investment in innovation, digitalization, electric vehicles, and green energy is steering China toward a more balanced and high-value economic model.
