Nhs Pay Bands

Here is a summary of the NHS pay bands for the year 2023/24 :

– Band 2: Healthcare assistants, receptionists, phlebotomists, administrative staff, domestic staff, and catering staff. The pay ranges from £18,546 to £22,383 per year.
– Band 3: Clinical support workers, therapy assistants, pharmacy assistants, administrative workers, and clerical staff. The pay ranges from £20,330 to £24,336 per year.
– Band 4: Nursing associates, associate practitioners, pharmacy technicians, bed managers, and senior clerical staff. The pay ranges from £22,549 to £27,596 per year.
– Band 5: Nurses, newly qualified midwives, paramedics, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists. The pay ranges from £25,655 to £34,581 per year.
– Band 6: Junior sisters, charge nurses, midwives, paramedics, newly-qualified pharmacists and biomedical scientists. The pay ranges from £32,306 to £42,618 per year.
– Band 7: Ward sisters, charge nurses, senior physiotherapists, occupational therapists, pharmacists and senior midwives. The pay ranges from £39,027 to £51,069 per year.

Please note that there are three separate bands: Inner (20% supplement), Outer (15% supplement), and Fringe (5% supplement) . The supplements are applied as a percentage of basic salary .
